Our Story
Signature Inspections Hawaii, LLC was founded with a clear mission: to give Hawaii property buyers, sellers, and owners the honest, expert information they need to make confident real estate decisions.
Our team understands the stress, challenges, and complexities of the real estate process—and we take a genuine interest in your success as a home or property owner. Our goal is genuine customer service and optimal client relationships.
Because the home inspection industry is not regulated throughout the Hawaiian Islands—there are no licensing requirements—anyone can call themselves a home inspector. Trevor Drinen is nationally certified by InterNACHI and ASHI, with extensive experience in construction, renovation, OSHA compliance, and customer service both before and during his career as a professional inspector.
From Hawaiian plantation-style homes and single-wall ohana homes to modern stucco townhouses and high-rise steel and glass condos—we inspect them all across all Hawaiian Islands.

Meet Your Inspector
Trevor Drinen, C.P.I. — Certified Professional Inspector
Prior to becoming a home inspector, Trevor served as a Non-Profit Director, Pastor, OSHA/DOE inspector, quality control officer, and consultant. As a Non-Profit Director, one of his core responsibilities was conducting weekly inspections of public school facilities—establishing professional service networks and ensuring compliance with all DOE and OSHA standards.
Trevor is currently a Certified Professional Inspector (C.P.I.) and member in good standing with both the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI #264643) and the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI #NACHI16122702)—the world's largest non-profit inspection association.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Pacific College in Southern California and an AA from SouthWestern Oregon. He is also Advanced Dive Certified, enabling submerged foundation, pool, spa, and dock inspections that other inspectors cannot perform.
At Signature Inspections Hawaii we use FLIR Pro Thermal Imaging and specialized reporting software including Home Binder—ensuring clients receive high-quality, detailed reports in both printed and PDF formats.
